| Skye’s eyes opened wide, and she went to slap him again, but Steven stepped back and quirked his eyebrow up at her. “Don’t try it again,” he said harshly. “I won’t remember my manners next time.” As if the arrogant fool had manners. If he did, she definitely wouldn't be standing here wasting her time arguing with him. Skye threw her hands over her head and shook her head back. “For your information, my son started off with me when I left last time. He chose to return home where his father was waiting to care for him, thank you very much.” “Who, Joey?” he laughed. “I don’t think so Toots. He was off in San Diego during the months you were gone.” Her own temper finally slipped, so she yelled, “Let me tell you something. Stay out of my damn business, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.” “Oh Wesson, a heart is the one thing that you lack.” It was too much for her and she went to slap him again, but like he promised, he intercepted and threw her hands behind her back. His lips took hers. Skye was stunned at first, but the more she felt his tongue demanding an entrance, the more she wanted to open up and let him in. Their tongues met at the same time, as if they had been kissing each other their entire lives. There was no urgency, no impatience, just pure passion. His hands rubbed her back and then moved to cup her ass in his hands. She hooked her arms around his neck, eventually moving up to run her fingers through his curly hair. Steven kissed her like no other man. He teased her lips, softly biting each and then, as if that weren’t enough, he sucked on her tongue, demanding she give it to him. She didn’t want the moment to end. Her insides were screaming take me upstairs to my room and make love to me. Her hands moved down to rub around his shoulders and finally down to massage his chest. She could feel his erect nipples through the shirt, and it made her wet just knowing that she was the reason they were so hard. She wanted so badly to rip off his shirt and witness all of him. To see what he was like under the armor that he projected to the world. Would his body be soft and gentle or demanding and rough like his personality? At that moment she didn’t even care. She only wanted him to take her in a way that had her screaming and begging for more. She wanted caviar on the bed stand; rose petals on the bed; silk sheets under the roses; dim lights to set the mood and the Isley Brothers singing to the rhythm of their lovemaking. All of this was what she wanted. None of it was what she got. |
